Enjoy an early morning breakfast before departing for the world-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will arrive in the afternoon and report to your designated camp, where lunch will be served. After lunch, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive to explore the Mara, famous for the Great Migration, often described as “the greatest wildlife show on Earth.” In the evening, return to your camp for dinner.
Day 2: Discover the Africa Big Five and the Wildebeest Migration in Maasai Mara
This day will be dedicated entirely to exploring the Maasai Mara. After an early morning breakfast, you’ll head into the African wilderness. Start with an early morning drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to see animals such as giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalo, wild dogs, zebras, and antelopes, among others. If it’s the Great Migration season, you’ll be treated to the sight of over 2 million wildebeests and zebras making their journey from the Serengeti across the Mara River into the Maasai Mara.
Return to your camp in time for lunch, and then enjoy a relaxing afternoon. In the evening, venture out for another game drive. This experience will help you unwind as you take in the beautiful landscape and watch the stunning sunset. Finally, return to your camp for dinner.
Day 3: Transfer to the endless plains of Serengeti
Breakfast will be served early in the morning, after which you will depart from Kenya and head to Tanzania. Begin your adventurous safari to Serengeti National Park, following the route used by animals during the Great Wildebeest Migration. Later, set out for an afternoon game drive. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner.
Day 4: Explore huge concentration of wildlife in Serengeti National Park

The Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as “the eighth wonder of the world,” is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife arenas. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the largest volcanic craters in the world, measuring almost 20 kilometres wide, 610 to 760 meters deep, and covering a total area of 264 square kilometres.
The Crater features a unique biosphere that includes grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a freshwater lake, and a stunning variety of birdlife, all enclosed within its towering walls. Due to its high concentration of wildlife, excellent viewing opportunities, and breathtaking scenery, it is also Tanzania’s most visited destination.
Day 7: Discover huge herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees at Tarangire
After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for hosting migratory animals such as zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and gazelles during the dry season. Zebras and wildebeests, which begin their migration in October, are the first to leave, heading towards Lake Natron in the northeastern region. They are followed by oryxes, hartebeests, gazelles, elands, and buffalos, with elephants being the last to migrate.
However, some animals, including waterbucks, giraffes, and warthogs, do not migrate and remain in the park. You will have the opportunity to see all of these animals and many more. The migratory animals start returning to the park between June and July.
