The Tanzania Family Holiday was designed for families to visit several iconic tourist attractions.
During the safari, you will have millions of photo-taking opportunities. Our safari cars are fitted
with a power sockets, a fridge, seat belts and binoculars. Every passenger has access to the
window seat. Our 4×4 custom designed land cruisers have roomy seats for easy stretching and
their roofs are pop-ups which enable the better photo-taking opportunities and incase we have
a baby seat. During this family holiday, you shall visit Tarangire national park, Lake Manyara
national park, and Serengeti.

Day 1:
Depart to Tarangire national park

This safari is expected to start and end in Arusha. Arusha is the biggest city in North Tanzania
and it is the gateway to the Northern Tanzanian National parks. Our tour guide shall come to
your residence in Arusha. This could be a hotel or residential home. You will meet and greet
with the tour guide and later, you will start your journey to Tarangire national park. The park
was named after the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. A lot of wildlife species
converge at around the river. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge, have lunch, refresh and
afterwards drive to the park for an afternoon game drive. Popular wildlife species to spot in the
park include Elephants, zebras, impalas, elands, leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, African wild
dog, wildebeest and many more. By evening, your camera will have great shots. At sunset, you
will return to the lodge.

Day 2:
Full day game drive at Tarangire national park

This safari is not oriented towards game viewing rather photography however there are so
many opportunities to take wild photos. Tarangire national park hosts over 550 species of birds.
During this full day, you will wake up in the morning, have breakfast and move to the park again
for game drive until sunset. With so many species of birds, you have the opportunity to taking
wonderful photos of different bird species.

Day 3:
Tarangire- Lake Manyara national park

After you shall leave Tarangire and head to Lake Manyara, During the visit to Lake Manyara
national park, you are likely to have several snapshots of tree-climbing lions. Lake Manyara
national park hosts tree climbing lions. The park was named after Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara
national park’s ecosystem support several wildlife species and bird life. Over 390 species of
birds have been recorded in the park. In terms of wildlife species, baboon, warthog, Elephants,
impala, giraffes, buffaloes, bushbuck, waterbucks, zebras are some of the species to encounter.
In addition, over 130 species of butterflies have been recorded. With such abundance of
different creatures, there will be many opportunities to take photos. Along the way, you will
have an en-route game drive. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge.

Day 4:
Depart to Serengeti national park

Early in the morning, you will leave Lake Manyara national park for Serengeti national park.
You will have a stop at Olduvai gorge- this historical site hold evidence of the first human. You
will learn a lot from the museum guides. Later, you will continue to Serengeti national park.
Along the way, will do an en-route game drive; upon arrival, you will check in your lodge, have
lunch and later, go for a late afternoon game drive. Serengeti national park endless plains offer
great photographic opportunities. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and
overnight.

Day 5:
Family expedition at the Serengeti national park

Serengeti national park is blessed with hundreds of bird species and several wildlife species.
The park is the oldest national park in Tanzania. Depending on your visiting season, there are
myriads of wildlife behaviors to expect. One of the spectacular natural events that are popular
in Serengeti is the great wildebeest migration. During the great wildebeest migration, millions
of wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras, Topis, and Thomson’s gazelles are seen
crossing from Serengeti national park to Maasai. This is the best time to visit the park for
photography. Early in morning after a tasty breakfast, you will visit the park with packed lunch
for a full day game drive. You will visit the Serengeti plains, the western corridor and the
Northern Serengeti. In Serengeti, it is possible to spot the big 5. A part from that, there are
other wildlife species to encounter such as zebra, Topi, gazelle, hartebeest, Nile crocodiles,
monkeys, hippopotamus, giraffes, and many more. In the evening, you will return to the lodge.

Day 6:
Depart to Ngorongoro crater

Early in the morning, you will visit Serengeti national park for an early morning game drive until
sunrise. The morning game drive is meant for nocturnal and predator photo taking. Predators
and nocturnal are always active in the early morning; later, you will drive back to the lodge,
have breakfast and start your journey to Ngorongoro crater while doing an en-route game
drive. Upon arrival in Ngorongoro, you will visit the crater floor for a game drive and later check
in your lodge, have lunch and afterwards, visit the Ngorongoro crater rim for a game viewing
and photography until sunset. Dinner shall be provided at your lodge.

Day 7:
Ngorongoro crater – Arusha

After breakfast we shall have a relaxing moments for the kids to swim or have a walking safari
before departing to Arusha.

We have local daily flights available on several airlines, you will get to Masai mara in just 50 minutes.
