7 Days Highlight Kenya Safari

After an early breakfast your driver will pick you from your hotel. You will depart for Samburu Game Reserve in the Rift Valley region. Arrive at the reserve in the afternoon and retire to your lodge for the afternoon. You can opt to go for an afternoon game drive or relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Wake up early for an early morning game-drive followed by a king breakfast, morning rest or optional activity. Enjoy watching animals like giraffes, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the big cats like leopards. You will also see birds such as vultures and blue-necked ostrich.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

On this day you depart to the beautiful Mt. Kenya region. After breakfast, your journey to Mt. Kenya will begin. Drive across the highlands of Central Kenya as you enjoy the beautiful landscape and scenery. Mt. Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya and the second highest in Africa. Arrive in the afternoon and head to Serena Mountain Lodge, one of the best in the region for lunch. From the lodge, watch herds of buffalos and elephants as they quench thirst in a nearby water hole and lick salt. The lodge area offers a scenic view for photography lovers and for spectacular game viewing.

After breakfast, depart for Naivasha; home to Lake Naivasha, which is located on the floor of The Great Rift Valley. Naivasha shelters thousands of bird species and thus an exciting haven for bird watchers. Enjoy game viewing of animals like warthogs, impalas, buffalos and zebras.

Make your way to Lake Naivasha, which is famous for boat riding and fishing activities.

After breakfast, you will depart for the famous Maasai Mara National reserve. This is the most visited safari destination in Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch and thereafter embark on an afternoon game drive. Head back to the camp for overnight.

After breakfast we shall depart with picnic lunch for us to explore the greater Mara, you will have the pleasure of seeing animals like elephants, wildebeests, Leopards, cheetah, buffalos and zebras. Maasai Mara is also known to host over 500 bird species, which you will also see.

Spend the next day enjoying game drives and game walks in the Mara wild.

This is your last day in Kenya. After breakfast, our driver will pick you and drive you back to Nairobi. Lunch will be served at Carnivore restaurant and thereafter you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a flight back home.
